Welcome
Our topic of the moment is Art Weeks.
As Oxfordshire 'Art Week's approaches we have dedicated our window space to those that create beautiful images to hang on your wall, you can see all our 'artists' by clicking here or by popping in and having a look at their work. You might even be lucky enough to catch an artist in action !
We also have a children's art competition running during Art Weeks. Pop in and pick up your entry pack which contains a mini canvas. Go away and paint, sketch, embroider (or whatever medium you choose) your favourite part of Didcot, Return entries for judging before 25th May ! Entry costs £1.50 and there are prizes in 3 categories.
About No Two Things
No Two Things is a new shopping experience in Didcot, South Oxfordshire.
It was born out of a small hobbyist enterprise called Trash 2 Treasure, run by Di and Beth, that encouraged the transformation of rubbish into re-purposed, upcycled and recycled items. We produced our own goods for craft fairs as well as running workshops for youth groups.
However, we felt strongly that Didcot needed an outlet for other artisans to display and sell their passionately produced goods and the idea of 'No Two Things' was conceived. Our offer is that 'no two things are ever the same' because we only stock hand made, artisan crafted items, especially from people living or working in Didcot and the surrounding area.
Shopping at No Two Things is a unique shopping experience. You are very welcome to pop in for a chat and a browse, and you might find something that you'd like to take home and cherish.
We will be running a series of craft activities in 2012 and maybe you'd like to learn a new skill through our 'know 2 things' workshops - we have a chalk board on which you are welcome to add your requests for workshops or email us through the contact page. We also have a holiday activity programme for chiildren - email us info@notwothings.co.uk and we'll send it to you :)
To bring a bit of cultural diversity to the shop we'll also host an occaisional world table featuring fairly traded goods from oversea's co-operatives and social enterprises, so you'll have to pop in regularly to see what treasures we have in store for you.
